    With a big heart for service, Mebble is compassionate and enjoys working with people. Mebble is committed to helping families, children, youth, and adults learn new ways of using their own strengths and abilities to overcome various life challenges. She believes in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their potential. Mebble also believes that a family, as a system, should work together in support of each member’s wellbeing.

    She approaches the therapeutic relationship with acceptance, empathy, compassion, respect, trust, and honesty with an understanding that these are essential components not only for a successful therapeutic relationship but the healing process.  Mebble has a broad range of experience working with children and families in the foster care system with focus on re-integration, adoption, and independent leaving, and working with children and families in various mental health facilities.

    Mebble holds a master’s degree in counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She also received special trainings in a QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Program with QPR institute, Risking Connection [A Traumatic Stress Education & Advocacy program] with Sidran Institute, and Play Therapy, Theraplay Therapy and Sandtray Therapy with Heartland Play Institute.
